Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly’s on-off relationship is off again, TMZ and Us Weekly report. Sources told TMZ that the couple, who is expecting their first child together, called off their romance during a Thanksgiving trip in Vail, Colorado. Fox reportedly “found material on MGK’s phone that was upsetting, and it made her want him to leave the trip early,” sources told the outlet.
Kelly left, and they have not seen each other since, the outlet wrote. Their baby is reportedly due in March.
A source told Us Weekly that “they broke up in late November. They were trying to make it work again after the pregnancy, but they are both too hot-headed and fell back into their constant fighting. They can’t get on the same page, and it’s not easy for them being together.”
That said, while “they are done for now,” Fox and Kelly “could very well be back together” in the future, the source shared, alluding to their on-off history.
Kelly and Fox started dating in 2020, got engaged in 2022, and called their engagement off before. The couple made headlines for their relationship trouble that began during Super Bowl weekend in 2023. They ultimately reconciled that summer before having another reported rough patch in December 2023.
Fox spoke on Call Her Daddy in March 2024 about why she was no longer talking about their relationship status publicly. She confirmed they had ended their engagement before.
“I think that what I’ve learned from being in this relationship is that it’s not for public consumption,” Fox said. “So I think, as of now, I don’t have a comment on the status of the relationship, per se. What I can say is that [he] is what I refer to as being my ‘twin soul,’ and there will always be a tether to him, no matter what. I can’t say for sure what the capacity will be, but I will always be connected to him somehow. Beyond that, I’m not willing to explain. All those things you said were accurate things that have occurred [that the couple got engaged, called it off, and now aren’t speaking publicly about their relationship status]. And I could see them being confusing, or interesting to people, and them being like, ‘What’s up?’”
Fox announced she and Kelly were expecting their first child together on Nov. 11, 2024. “Nothing is ever really lost. welcome back 👼🏼❤️” she wrote on Instagram.
Neither Kelly nor Fox have commented on the latest breakup report.
