Late-night television has always made for an entertaining watch but sometimes things can take a rather awkward turn. What better example could one possibly give of this statement other than the time actress Megan Fox showed up at Conan O’Brien’s set? Now, the man sure has had a ton of unforgettable moments throughout his years as a late-night host.

However, this particular moment from his interview with Megan Fox is still etched into the viewers’ minds for all the wrong reasons. From talking about her go-to question when she meets new people to asking if Conan O’Brien had seen his mother naked, Megan Fox sure made the host feel awkward with a capital A.
Megan Fox’s Highly Inappropriate Question for Conan O’Brien

In the fourth season of Conan, Megan Fox paid a visit to the show for its August 07, 2014 episode. During the interview, Conan O’Brien brought up the actress’ apparent psychic abilities.
O’Brien brought up Fox’s belief in astrology to which she stated that while she doesn’t live her life by it, she does agree that it has its merits. She admitted that before working with people for long periods, she checks on them and does their charts. When O’Brien asked if she asks for their astrological signs, Fox replied that there is so much more to it than just a zodiac sign.
The Transformers actress added that she asks her collaborators everything from their birthplace to birth time. Fox then added that she likes asking people uncomfortable questions to learn more about them, including whether or not they were breastfed as a child.
I study a lot like the Myers-Briggs psychology tests and the Enneagram tests, the psychological types. And so I tend to try and learn who people are by asking really uncomfortable questions like, when I first meet someone I might ask them, ‘Were you breastfed as a child?’ That’s one of the first thing I ask.
As the audience erupted into laughter, O’Brien looked back and forth at the camera, trying to make sense of Fox’s words. When the actress posed the question to him, he said, “Was I breastfed? I come from a family that doesn’t talk about any of that sh-t” before joking, “I don’t think my parents have met each other formally.”
He then gave his final answer that he was not breastfed as a child but before he could get over the initial question, Fox threw another inappropriate one at him. She asked, “Did you ever see your mother naked?”
The host answered, “No, I don’t think I was breastfed and I never seen my mom naked.”
Fox was slammed by people in the comment section for her take on psychology including @dougfitch3649 who wrote, “Megan, just stop. You’re not a psychologist” and @DarkStar27182 who blasted the actress for comparing astrology to neuroscience by stating, “no way she thinks that astrology (a pseudoscience) has just as much merit as neuroscience and astronomy (real science).”
It looks like Fox’s take on psychology and astrology did not sit right with the fans.
What Did Megan Fox Conclude from her Questions?

After asking O’Brien two awkward questions, Fox came to her conclusion about the host’s relationship with women. She stated that a boy’s first experience with his mother tells a lot about him since a mother is essentially a child’s first love.
The actress said,
So that informs me, because a child’s first experience of the mother, especially a boy’s first experience with a mother, that’s your first love, and that colors how you see women for the rest of your life.
When O’Brien asked what she had inferred about him after learning that he had neither been breastfed nor had ever seen his mother naked, Fox replied that she believed the host was “afraid” of women.
In Fox’s words,
You may perceive that there is a lack of like, warmth and nurturing coming from women. And you may be afraid of women on some level.
Without missing a beat, O’Brien hilariously replied, “Bingo!” sending the audience and himself into fits of laughter. Fox turned to the other guest on the show, Todd Glass, and without any prompting commented that she believed Glass was definitely breastfed. The co-guest affirmed the actress’ beliefs.
