I don’t know if it’s because I’m older (almost 31!!) or because we’re nearing winter, but I’ve officially come to the conclusion that I would much rather stay on the couch and watch Netflix than go out. I’ve always been a homebody, but nowadays, I think my friends feel like they have to pull an arm and leg to get me out of the house. But, I think I just found the best of both worlds, and Salma Hayek actually introduced me to it. Thank you, Salma!

The actress can quite literally wear it all, like slinky bikinis on vacation (#goals) to denim maxi skirts that are a must this time of year. But, on a recent outing, her outfit really caught my eye—not because it was divisive or overly sexy or totally out-of-character, but rather because it was exactly what I needed: something cozy and comforting.
Hayek stepped out for a casual outing wearing a two-piece sweater set (I told you it was cozy!). The cuddly two-piece features a mockneck sweater with insanely good detailing, like a ribbed hem and neckline, plus a seam down the middle that gives it some dimension. Her pants were perfectly coordinated, crafted from the same knit material and also had two seams down the front.
The actress rounded out her look with white sneakers, sunglasses, and a newsboy cap that perfectly dressed up the more casual-leaning sweater set. However, had she styled the two-piece with suede boots, a blazer, and some chunky jewelry, she could’ve even worn said ‘fit to the office (if she went to one!). I know I totally will!
A sweater set is the couch-to-cocktails staple I’ve been missing. The knit material is soft and cozy, which makes lounging on the couch all the better, but it’s dressy enough to meet friends for last-minute drinks. So, you can feel a bit lounge-y and cozy, but still get in your social needs. Like I said: It was the best of both worlds.
