When it comes to date night, Salma Hayek is always bringing her fashion A-game.
Hayek joined her husband, Kering CEO François-Henri Pinault, to attend an official state dinner at France's presidential Élysée Palace, which honored President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden's state visit to the country in honor of the 80th anniversary of the invasion of Normandy. The grand occasion called for even grander clothing, and the Frida star didn't disappoint.

For her look, Hayek turned out in a magnificent black ball gown with a long-sleeved bodice made of bedazzled see-through lace. The piece then extended out into a voluminous skirt. She paired the dress with a black iteration of her signature platform heels, as well as a black leather clutch, tortoiseshell sunglasses, and an array of blinged out diamond rings.
As for Pinault, the fashion executive coordinated in his own all-black ensemble: a suave suit paired with a black collared button-down, a black tie, and black leather dress shoes.

Hayek isn't afraid of embracing some glitz and glamour with her wardrobe while appearing at high-profile events.
For instance, she turned heads last month at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival, where she walked the red carpet for the Emilia Perez premiere in a strapless black column dress by Saint Laurent. The form-fitting piece was completely covered in glittery sequins. She previously had another major sequin moment the month prior, when she attended a dinner for Venice's 60th Biennale Art in a flashy aquamarine fringe gown.
