Hosted by Kristen Bell, the ceremony honored many of the same nominees that the Golden Globes also honored with some snubs and surprises.

In film, “Wicked” led the pack with five nominations, followed by “A Complete Unknown” with four and “Emilia Perez” and “Anora” each getting three. Timothée Chalamet won big for “A Complete Unknown,” while “Conclave” won for best ensemble and Demi Moore won for “The Substance.”

Denzel Washington was snubbed for “Gladiator II,” for which he earned a Golden Globe nomination. Nicole Kidman also got snubbed for “Babygirl” and Angelina Jolie got snubbed for “Maria.”

But, Pamela Anderson, who the Oscars snubbed for “The Last Showgirl,” did earn a SAG nomination.

In television, “Shõgun” led the pack with five nominations, followed by “The Bear” with four and “The Penguin” with three nominations. Colin Farrell scored a win for the latter.

Here are all the best and worst moments from the ceremony.

Best – Harrison Ford photobombs the intro

The ceremony opened by cutting to various actors like Mikey Madison and Jodie Foster talking to the camera about their first acting gigs. All the actors spoke while sitting at their tables in the audience, so viewers at home could clearly see fellow celebs sitting near them. When it was Jessica Williams’ turn, Harrison Ford, who was sitting next to her, took a bite of his food – then realized he was on camera, froze, and slowly turned away. It was unclear if it was by accident or if it was a bit. Either way, it was amusing. Realizing that Ford was photobombing her moment, Williams joked, “I told him to turn away!”

Best  – Kristen Bell pays homage to actors’ early roles

In her opening monologue, host Kristen Bell sang a song about how everyone in the room had a dream of becoming an actor. Behind her, a screen played clips of various actors’ first roles – Timothée Chalamet, Colin Farrell, Andrew Scott, Zoe Saldaña. Meanwhile, a camera showed each actor in the audience reacting to seeing their early roles, often with a grimace.

Best – All the reunions

During one of Kristen Bell’s segments, Ted Danson interrupted her to argue about whether he or William Jackson Harper was her favorite co-star while filming “The Good Place.” Later in the show, Jason Segel came out to talk to Bell while wearing his suit on his top half with his bottom half wrapped in a towel, pretending to be nude in a nod to his naked scene in “Forgetting Sarah Marshall.” Later in the ceremony, David Duchovny and his “X-Files” co-star Gillian Anderson also had a reunion onstage, and former “New Girl” co-stars Zooey Deschanel and Max Greenfield presented the award together for best ensemble in a comedy series and Bell had a moment with former “Gossip Girl” co-star Leighton Meester. It was a night full of reunions.

Best  – Kieran Culkin’s speech

Culkin won the award for outstanding performance by a male actor in a supporting role” for “A Real Pain.” During his goofy rambling, he pointed out that 45 seconds is the allotted time for each speech and pointedly said, “Adrien Brody,” since Brody was the frontrunner to win the award for lead actor in a movie.

He followed up the comment by addressing Brody, saying, “There was no reason to take that shot, I love you.” He added, “Moving on, I see the clock ticking,” and as he kept speaking, he gave himself a count down, feverishly muttering, “13,12,11 … I haven’t said anything,” as the crowd laughed.

Worst – “Emilia Perez” awkwardly dancing around Karla Sofía Gascón’s absence

Zoe Saldana and Selena Gomez came out onstage to talk about their film, “Emilia Perez.”
“Every once in a while, we get a movie that dares to be as unpredictable as life itself,” said Selena Gomez before showing clips from the film.

Looking at the footage, you would think they were the only two stars of the film. You know what else has been “unpredictable,” Selena Gomez? Her co-star Karla Sofía Gascón’s awards campaign derailing after her controversial social media posts resurfaced. Following that incident, the movie reportedly ditched the actress from the campaign. All this segment did was highlight her conspicuous absence.

Worst – Jane Fonda’s speech gets interrupted by a tech glitch

Jane Fonda, 87, was presented with a lifetime achievement award at the ceremony. The Hollywood icon gave a fiery speech. “Your enthusiasm makes it seem less like a twilight of my life and more like a ‘go girl, kickass,’ which is good, because I’m not done,” she said.

She called her career “totally unstrategic” and joked, “Probably in my 90s, I’ll be doing my own stunts in an action movie.” The “9 to 5” star added that since she grew up in the ‘40s and ‘50s, when women weren’t supposed to “have opinions” or “get angry,” acting gave her that chance.

This was all well and good, but in the middle of her speech, the sound system malfunctioned, and a disembodied voice over the loudspeaker briefly cut in. Fonda rolled with it, joking, “And I can conjure up voices!” But she shouldn’t have had to adjust to that. Somebody messed up, big time.
