The Oscar winner, who is perhaps best known for her films “Winter’s Bone” and “The Hunger Games,” was seen walking in New York City after the baby’s arrival, according to the outlet. A rep for the famously private actress, who doesn’t have any publicly identifiable social media accounts, confirmed the pregnancy to Vogue in October 2024.
There is no word yet on the new baby’s gender or name, and the publication said it was unable to reach a rep for the actress.

The new baby makes two for Lawrence and Maroney. In a 2022 Vogue interview, Lawrence talked about motherhood shortly after the birth of her first, a son named Cy. Joking about squeezing in a spray tan, the magazine says she laughed, “I was like, ‘I’m meeting somebody from the outside! I hope she doesn’t think I’m pale!'”
Lawrence said at nine months pregnant, she questioned whether she would love her baby equally to her cat, but after meeting the little angel, she instantly fell in love. “The morning after I gave birth, I felt like my whole life had started over,” she said. The “American Hustle” star added, “I was just so in love. I also fell in love with all babies everywhere.”
She detailed how she found all newborns “amazing” after having one of her own, even finding it “precious” when she heard a baby crying in a restaurant.
Along with the joy, Lawrence also shared the apprehension she feels at being a mom.
“I wonder what will happen now that I’ll be witnessing somebody else’s childhood. And I wonder what he’s going to be talking about with his therapist,” Vogue quoted her as saying.
