Lawrence is a dream guest any talk show host could’ve since she has always got these stories that will make anyone laugh their heads off. Jimmy Kimmel Live! tried to flip the script in 2017 and handed off the hosting duties to Lawrence this time.
The Hunger Games actress interviewed Kim Kardashian and the two hit it off right away. The conversation touched upon various matters related to Kardashian’s life, both her public and private life. During one instance in the interview, Lawrence asked her, “Who of all your sisters lost their virginity first?”
Kardashian was quick to answer this rather uncomfortable question and shared that it was her, to which Lawrence hilariously replied that she thought it could’ve been Kourtney Kardashian. The X-Men: First Class actress went on to press her further about her love life, asking her if she had ever been cheated on.
When Kardashian answered “yes”, Lawrence wanted to know how she caught it. Kardashian went into the details, sharing that her hacking skills helped her. She shared that she hacked into her ex-boyfriend’s voicemail and found out that he flew to another town to meet a girl on her birthday and lied to her about it. Kim Kardashian shared on Jimmy Kimmel Live!:
My hacking skills. I got into the voicemail thing. And it was on my birthday I was with my girl best friends, called him putting on the speaker wondering where my boyfriend was. He was flying to another town to meet another girl on my birthday and lied to me that he was in a different city.
However, the Joy actress’s reaction was hilarious. She shared that her story almost felt like one of those stories from a Taylor Swift song. She shared that it was awful and she was sorry that it happened to Kardashian, but she did not stop there. She took a dig at Kardashian and asked jokingly whether she married him. Lawrence’s reaction to the cheating story went like this:
Oh my god, that’s like a Taylor Swift song. Oh my god, that’s awful. I’m sorry that happened… Did you marry him?
Being a regular viewer of the Kardashian family reality show, Lawrence used her knowledge to come up with the perfect joke, that left the audience in a split. Kardashian too laughed it off, which indicated that Lawrence would make for a great talk show host who could pass on such jokes without offending her guests.

During the interview, Jennifer Lawrence and Kim Kardashian recalled the host hanging out with Kris Jenner and the Kardashians at their home. Apparently, Lawrence and Jenner got wasted as Kim Kardashian shared, “I have never seen my mom more drunk in our lives.” She added that they had “too many drinks for my taste”.
Lawrence defended the Kardashian Momager and shared that she was more drunk than Jenner. She asked Kardashian to take it easy on her mother. They further shared a video of Lawrence and Jenner dancing after getting drunk. The Silver Linings Playbook actress shared about her experience:
I remember getting naked in your mom’s closet and ordering you to dress me. You dressed me fabulously, I looked amazing.
It is high time that Lawrence gets her own talk show. The viewers would want to watch her sassiness and guests would love to chat with her in the interviews.
