Matthew McConaughey Jokes About Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt’s ‘Sexual Tension’ During Fast Times Live Read

Let me take you back to September 2020, when Matthew McConaughey, Jennifer Aniston, Brad Pitt, and a slew of other A-listers did a virtual live reading of the Fast Times at Ridgemont High script. The internet flipped out when Aniston and Pitt, famous exes, reenacted a sexy scene together from the movie.

And while it’s very clear these two are just friends, fans still can’t help but wonder, “What if?” Was there any actual flirtation between Aniston and Pitt during this virtual reunion? Or was it all just Twitter hype?

One fan asked McConaughey this during his appearance on Watch What Happens Live Thursday, October 29. “Could you feel the sexual tension between Jen Aniston and Brad Pitt?” they inquired.

The short answer to this question is no, but McConaughey made some jokes. “Could I feel the heat through the screen?” he asked faux-dramatically before quipping, “So palpable! So palpable!”

He continued, “I noticed that after, that’s what a lot of the topics were…about them. No, I actually didn’t notice anything through the screen, but that made for a good topic the next day.”

There you have it, people. Can we lay the Aniston-Pitt fan fiction to rest now? It’s been literally 15 years! Watch McConaughey’s (very funny) answer for yourself in the video, below:

Brad Pitt Jennifer Aniston Matthew McConaugheyMatthew McConaughey recently opened up to Oprah Winfrey about his family life on her new Apple TV+ series, The Oprah Conversation. (He has three children with wife Camila Alves.)

“We do not allow lying in the house. You cannot say the word[s] I can’t, and you can’t use the word hate,” McConaughey told Winfrey, according to Insider. “Those three words will get you in big trouble in our house.” He later added, “My hope is that [my children] become autonomous, conscientious, competent young people in their life.”
