As if Katy Perry couldn’t give me the ick anymore, she’s only gone and done it with a truly awful explicit comment about her husband, Orlando Bloom. Here I am, minding my own business when suddenly I’m accosted with explicit information about Orlando Bloom’s, to put it in Katy’s words, “magic stick.” If that phrase isn’t enough to give you major Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom ick then I don’t know what will.
During a recent Q&A session on Instagram, one fan asked Katy Perry about Orlando’s “magic stick” and whether that was why they’d been together for so long. Katy replied: “Well, we’ve been together for a while. So I guess he’s got the magic in him.” Well, that’s going on the list of information I absolutely did not need to know but will never be able to erase from my brain.
As if that wasn’t bad enough she then started singing B.o.B’s 2010 song Magic, and Katy no amount of nostalgic singing will save you from the flop of Woman’s World. She carried on explaining, saying: “No, it’s really his heart. And he gave me my greatest gift ever, Daisy Dove Bloom.”
I think we can all remember *those* pictures of Orlando Bloom that came out in 2016 when he was naked paddleboarding with Katy in Sardinia. At the time Orlando laughed about the incident with Howard Stern, joking: “The publicist called to say, ‘That is not the worst of it.’
“First of all, there were pictures with a block over it. And you make some jokes like, ‘Have you got a black box big enough to cover it.’ And then you suddenly realise somebody is going to uncover the black box because they are going to be paid enough. It’s a triple whammy – photos, black box then no black box.”
But it seems like Katy wasn’t surprised by his immodesty at the time, as she revealed: “He is quite the exhibitionist, he’s an adventure junkie as well.” And judging from her latest comments she’s still not got any complaints. Now, excuse me whist I try and get the words “magic stick” out of my head.
