The actress was quick to grab a memorable piece of set before everyone else came up with the same idea.
Having spent more than a decade on TV, The Big Bang Theory isn’t just a show that would come and go that easily as millions of its fans across the world have been vocal about the series’s ending having come too soon ever since it ended several years ago.
The beloved sitcom’s lovers and even lead cast had a hard time saying goodbye to favorite characters and locations, yet one of the cast members made it easier for themselves since they got unique props from The Big Bang Theory’s set to keep it at home as a lovely reminder of good old times.
Upon the show’s finale that aired in 2019, Penny’s actress Kaley Cuoco revealed that there was something she took from the set to eventually hang it in her living room, hinting that it was a thing she had been looking at for all the 12 years she had spent filming The Big Bang Theory.
The actress then clarified that she’d opted for getting herself a photo of two robots at a wrestling ring, which actually could be seen on a door in Leonard and Sheldon’s apartment since the very first episode of the sitcom.
Cuoco also explained why she got so attached to a bit of a weird picture saying that “it’s always in my eyeline from where I sit in the living room set, so I’m glad I’m going to put it in my own living room so I’ll see it forever”.
She then added that The Big Bang Theory’s set was full of all kinds of cool things that the rest of the cast had already taken notice of, but she was quick enough to grab what she had personally wanted, admitting that the picture is “super random and weird, but it’s overly special to me.”
