Kaley Cuoco‘s TV career began as a child star and it hasn’t slowed down since. She’s a three-time Emmy nominee, a successful producer, and a part of the pop-culture lexicon. Her boyfriend, Tom Pelphrey, has also seen Hollywood success with Ozark, garnering his own Emmy nomination, but the 38-year-old actress thinks her 41-year-old partner has what it takes to have an A-list career — think “Brad Pitt.”
Cuoco is reportedly trying to use her power in the entertainment industry to get Pelphrey to the next level. “The magic in Kaley and Tom’s relationship, even more than becoming parents together, is the fact that Kaley has become a true believer in Tom and his work,” a source told Life & Style. “She’s 100 percent on board for this guy and his whole presence and approach as an actor.” Cuoco is his “massive head cheerleader” at a time that is a “critical juncture in his career.”

The Big Bang Theory star has so much faith in her man’s talent that she’s “thinking big” about “making Tom into a star you can put on a poster or a billboard.” What makes her generosity so special is that “she was never this way with any of her exes, this is not a pattern for her.” The source added that her plans for Pelphrey’s career are “coming from a very loving place.” The dynamic duo has made a home together with their 14-month-old daughter, Matilda, and now, they are ready to take that strength into their professional lives.
In 2022, the adorable couple celebrated their joint nominations — her for The Flight Attendant and him for Ozark. They gushed about each other in now-deleted Instagram posts when they found out they were both sharing this special day together. “And to share this moment with my ♥️ @tommypelphrey with his own deserved nomination… what a moment and we are so grateful,” Cuoco wrote, per Entertainment Tonight. Pelphrey also posted his own sweet message for his girlfriend, gushing, “ALSO… CONGRATULATIONS TO MY FAVORITE ACTRESS!!! Such beautiful, brave work. Beyond grateful to share this with you today…”
While neither of them went home with an Emmy in September 2022, they are a tight family unit who believe in each other. The Life & Style insider wouldn’t be surprised if Cuoco “financed a film” for her boyfriend from “the way she talks about him and his talent.” The family that plays together, stays together — and it sounds like Cuoco and Pelphrey are in it for the long haul.
