Jennifer Lopez Revealed Whether or Not She’s ‘Forgiven’ Ben Affleck After Putting a Pause on Their Romance

Along with Jennifer Lopez putting her love life in the forefront of her film This Is Me…Now, she also released a documentary entitled The Greatest Love Story Never Told on Prime Video. The film talks about the making of her other film, along with interviews with her, co-stars, and longtime friends.

In her new Amazon Prime documentary via People, she revealed whether or not she’s forgiven her husband, Ben Affleck, after their breakup in 2004.

“I think I was angry at you for a long time,” she said. “But that heartbreak set both of us on a course to figuring ourselves out to being better people. I think I’ve forgiven you all the way. I think I need to forgive myself [for] some things.”

You can see the documentary trailer here:

And for those who don’t know, Lopez and Affleck were together from 2002 to 2004 after meeting on the set of Gigli. They called off their wedding, and later their relationship, with one aspect of their romance ending being the constant public attention.

However, they rekindled their romance in 2021, and they tied the knot a year later.

Since then, they’ve been to numerous red-carpet events together, spent time with their blended families, and worked on Lopez’s new film together. If you need a refresher on the film that’s been talked about for weeks now, the trailer is below:

Something to note is that insiders have dished that Affleck has been rather uncomfortable with all of this media attention surrounding their relationship, plus the two projects that discuss details of their relationship heavily. In fact, one insider said he’s allegedly worried this media attention will hurt their relationship like before.

“Ben has gotten very good at biting his tongue, but it’s known that he’s not happy at all about J.Lo’s endless need for attention,” the insider said to OK Magazine. “Ben loves J.Lo dearly, and he knew what he was getting into, to an extent. But his fear is that by putting so much of herself out there, J.Lo’s just opening them up to way too much public scrutiny, and that hasn’t helped their relationship historically — far from it.”
