Jennifer Lopez Nails the Baggy Jeans Trend While on Romantic Day Date with Husband Ben Affleck

Jennifer Lopez is giving big denim a go!

The This Is Me… Now musician, 54, was spotted out in Venice, California, this week as she rocked a stand-out pair of baggy jeans while on a romantic walk with husband Ben Affleck.

In photos from the outing after a lunch date, Lopez could be seen in a pair of shades, a white puffer vest, a tan scarf and long-sleeve shirt, some brown boots and her fashionable dark-denim-blue trousers — which featured several buttons and extended to the bottom of her boots.

Affleck, 51, took the stroll in a dark wool jacket, black button-down, dark jeans of his own and a sleek pair of black and white Nikes, as he embraced his significant other with a sidewalk kiss.

Lopez is no stranger to baggy jeans — having worn a lighter-wash pair back in August, which followed her white wide-leg jeans, a Y2K-inspired baggy cargo look and other baggier-trouser outings.

Lopez also hasn't been shy when it comes to opening up about her past looks as of late, as just last week, the multi-hyphenate described the vision behind her wedding dress in a new video recorded for Vogue.

In the clip, Lopez flipped through a variety of her iconic looks, including her wedding gown — a version of Ralph Lauren's classic turtleneck column dress with a thousand handkerchiefs sewn.

“This is Ralph Lauren. This is my wedding day,” she said in the clip. "We got married down in Savannah, and I wanted it to be traditionally Latin, but also be kind of Southern Belle-ish at times."

Lopez added that her stylists “certainly accomplished” her goal for the look, adding that it included "a long train that was so hard to walk in."

The musician — who married Affleck during her Georgia wedding in August 2022 — added that the designer had made

In a recent conversation with Variety, Lopez also clarified that the dress she wore during her intimate Las Vegas wedding where she and the actor traded vows a month before the Georgia wedding, was not the gown she wore in 2004's Jersey Girl despite fan speculation.

"No, that's not true. I wish it was. I wish I did have that dress. I don't have that dress. No, this was a different dress that I had," she said, adding that she still had gowns from Marry Me and Shotgun Wedding.

"… So I had all these wedding dresses in my house. And when we, at the spur of the moment, decided to get married that day, I just had a dress," she said. "It's not from a movie. I never wore it in a movie."
