It appears that Jennifer Lopez and her husband Ben Affleck had some trouble in paradise as they were spotted sharing a tense car ride together in St. Barts this week.
On Friday, the married couple were spotted sharing a moody ride in the Caribbean as they travelled around the island's capital Gustavia in a white Mini Moke. In the snaps, the Oscar award-winning actor appeared stoic and grim as he hunched over behind the driver's wheel with his wife sitting in the passenger seat. During the serious ride, Ben sported a crisp white button-down shirt and rocked a grown out beard as he navigated the streets of St. Barts.
During the drive Jennifer sported stylish white shades as she looked out into the distance away from Ben. Despite the strained energy between the two, the 54-year-old singer looked radiant and bronzed on the vacation as she wore a flattering cream-coloured dress with her hair pulled back into a low ponytail.
It seemed that the pair later brightened up as they were spotted locking lips as they explored the local shops during the sunny afternoon. As they wandered the streets together the pair looked relaxed and content and held hands as they went on a shopping spree during their island getaway.
The day before, Jennifer flaunted her toned body on the picturesque beaches as she showed off her incredible abs in a white string bikini top paired with a stylish wide-brim straw hat. J-Lo appeared to be enjoying her solo time in the sun as she strolled besides the crystal clear water with her headphones plugged in.
The pair's vacation comes as they have enjoyed over a year of marriage together. The famous couple have shared a 20-year-long on-and-off romance that first began back in 2002 after meeting on set of the rom-com Gigli. Within months of first laying eyes on each other the two were prepared to spend the rest of their lives together and soon were engaged. But not long after they decided to take a step back and postpone their wedding then moved on to called it off entirely.
After the dramatic breakup, Jennifer and Ben both went on to marry and have kids with other partners. Jennifer was previously married to Marc Anthony from 2004 to 2014 during which they welcomed twins Max and Emme together. Meanwhile, Ben went on to marry actress Jennifer Garner from 2005 to 2018 during which they welcomed three children together including Violet, Seraphina, and Samuel.
But after they both finalised their divorces, the pair found their way back to each other, rekindling their romance officially in 2021 and marrying in a fairytale ceremony last summer. And now over a year later the pair have happily settled into married life together jetting off on beautiful sunny vacations together.
