In case you’re looking to refresh your shoe collection for spring, allow Jennifer Lawrence’s latest street style sighting to inspire you.
This past weekend, the actor reunited with her Hunger Games costar, Woody Harrelson, for a casual stroll through New York City. Lawrence, who is currently pregnant with her second child with husband Cooke Maroney, brought her refined sense of style along for the ride. She bundled up in a long black double-breasted wool coat from Dior, further accessorizing with a speckled maroon knit scarf, a black knit beanie, oval-shaped sunglasses, black leather gloves, and a leather tote by the Row. Peeking out beneath her slouchy wide-leg trousers was a pair of sneakers you just might start seeing everywhere this spring: Loewe’s Ballet Runner 2.0.
Lawrence’s style is a remix on the house’s original Ballet Runner, which first debuted back in 2019. Taking inspiration from ballet pumps and ’70s-era track shoes, these sneakers seamlessly blend retro details with the delicate whimsy inherent in the prevailing balletcore trend. The design of the Ballet Runner 2.0 features supple leather stitched with Loewe’s monogram on one side and a funky textured rubber sole that curves upward toward the rounded toe.

The No Hard Feelings star previously opened up about developing her own sense of style after entering the public eye in an interview for Harper’s Bazaar’s May 2016 cover story.
“I think I started paying attention to fashion as soon as paparazzi started happening a few years ago,” she said at the time. “I was not ready. I was like, “What do I wear?’ I had to start paying attention. When I turned 25 it got easier because I know, ‘This is you, this is not you.’”
