Finally, the tortuous divorce process between Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt was finalized just hours before the end of 2024, on December 30, after a series of complications that began eight long years ago.
And there were many who decided to remember the words that Jennifer Aniston said at the time to the woman who would be her husband's new partner, without yet knowing the turn their relationship would take at that time only work.
These words echoed in the media and surely in the mood of the protagonist of 'World War Z' and 'Inglorious Basterds', as they had over time a certain 'premonition'.
Aniston ran into Jolie in 2004 at the Warner Bros. studio in Burbank, where she was filming episodes of the television series Friends, when her husband was about to shoot the film 'Mr. and Mrs. Smith'. She recalled this in a 2005 interview with Vanity Fair: "I stopped, introduced myself and said, 'Brad is really looking forward to working with you. I hope you have a great time!'".
January 2005 marked the end of the relationship between Aniston and Pitt, thanks to the fact that the actor fell in love with Jolie on the set of the aforementioned film, and although Pitt swore up and down that there was no sexual relations between them, his marriage to the television star came to an irretrievable end.

And Pitt and Jolie did 'have fun' as they dated for years without formalizing their engagement, although the wedding was also inexorable and they consolidated their love in 2014, not without first adopting three children, Maddox, Pax and Zahara, who are now 23, 20 and 19 years old respectively; and having three children of their own, Shiloh, and twins Vivienne and Knox, aged 19 and 15 respectively.
The 'honeymoon' soon turned into a 'honeymoon' as just two years later, in 2016, Jolie surprised the world by announcing that Pitt was a violent man with her and her children, so she filed for divorce after a terrible argument on board their private jet.
Today, in 2025, it is known that Angelina and all her children have already left Pitt's properties, that they are focused on their peace of mind trying to overcome the trance and that only remains to be resolved between her and Pitt the ownership of their vineyard and winery in France.
