Humans, in general, seem to grasp onto any information about Jennifer Aniston with a grip as strong as the one Brad Pitt had on her wrist at the SAG Awards. Of course, unlike Pitt, we know not to let go.
Jennifer Aniston is the gift that keeps on giving. This is the woman who starred in one of the most popular TV series of all time and was one half of the most talked about celebrity couple ever. Her Rachel Green haircut inspired millions to layer their hair and her Smartwater campaign may be why we never feel thirst. Just last week she graced the cover of Interview magazine and the photo of her pantless in a leather jacket and over-the-knee boots was exactly what everyone needed to make it through the rest of winter. Like one wise Instagram commentator put it, “There are actual tears in my eyes she’s so hot.” Same.
But more interesting than what she wore for the editorial is what she wore while being interviewed over the phone by her pal Sandra Bullock. Not only did Aniston reveal she was wearing Hanky Panky underwear but that she had on Rag & Bone jeans and an Elder Statesman sweater.
A celebrity wearing jeans and a sweater is not necessarily breaking news but this is Jennifer Aniston. When she joined Instagram, millions of people flocked to her page in just five hours. Her recent photo with Brad Pitt caused the Internet to implode. Will buying Rag & Bone jeans get us millions of followers and a double take by Pitt? Absolutely not. But will we still buy a couple pairs right now at Nordstrom because some are on sale and Aniston wore them? Absolutely yes.
