During the media encounter, Nicole was seen flaunting a diamond ring on her ring finger, sparking speculation about their engagement which has now been confirmed.

They were first seen together publicly in February of last year at a Netflix event at Zero Bond, a social club in New York City. Justin Theroux and Nicole Brydon Bloom confirmed their relationship at the Vanity Fair Oscars party in March 2024, where they again showcased their taste for coordinating outfits in matching black. In an earlier interview with E! News, Theroux spoke about the difficulties of being in a public relationship, saying, "Having been in a public relationship, it's much more fun not being in one. Even if I say something loving, it just becomes a big deal." He stressed his wish to keep his current relationship away from media attention, stating, "Once you're out of that, I want all my relationships to stay private."
