Jennifer Aniston dotes on her doggies like they’re her own flesh and blood and a source says she’s got all kinds of festive treats and surprises in store for them this holiday season.
“Jen’s dogs are beyond pampered. She’s bought all of them piles of dog treats and bones and chew toys for Christmas and lots of cute outfits,” a source exclusively tells Life & Style. “She’s doing a special Christmas card featuring them and she’s even planning to have her chef prepare them a dog-friendly Christmas dinner so they can enjoy the festivities alongside her. She’s planning to throw her big holiday party that she does every year and this year she’s going to make it dog-friendly.”
The Friends star, 55, is pulling out all the stops for her paw-ty. “She’s arranged to have a special dog support staff to entertain all the pups that come, while the dog parents all socialize together,” the source says.
The truth is, “Jen hates leaving her dogs at home when she goes out, a lot of the time she’ll pass up dinner invites because she’d rather stay home curled up on the couch with her fur babies,” according to the insider. So, the Morning Show star found her picture-perfect solution.
“She wants to normalize bringing dogs to parties, so she’s making a big deal of setting her party up to be dog-friendly. Plus, she thinks it will be so cute to have a bunch of dogs running around,” the insider shares.
Jen is a proud momma to three fur babies; a pit bull mix named Sophie, a gray Schnauzer mix named Clyde and Lord Chesterfield, a white shepherd mix.
In October, a separate source exclusively told Life & Style that she loves her dogs so much, she was “curious” about cloning her pets.
“Jen’s dogs have become her life and she’s researching the possibilities of having them cloned, so that when they do eventually pass it might be a little less painful,” the second source revealed at the time.
The Just Go With It actress has turned her love of animals into good by launching The Clydeo Fund, a charity that helps aid and fund financial assistance for sheltered animals.
Jennifer also released her children’s book Clydeo Takes a Bite Out of Life. The read, which is the first of four installments, is based on her own pup. While promoting the book, Jennifer appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and Clyde joined his mom on stage for his big TV debut.
Over the years, Jennifer has mourned the losses of her late dogs, Dolly and Norman, the latter of whom took up acting like his mom before she was his owner. “Norman was my first [dog]. And it was just a fluke. He was in a scene with Joey and Chandler on Friends when they left baby Ben on the bus,” Jennifer told People in September. “They were running through the streets and ran into a dog walker that had all these dogs. Norman was one of them, and I just fell in love.”
