Jennifer Aniston is ‘hugely concerned’ for her ex-husband Brad Pitt after his son Pax branded him an ‘awful human’.
The 54-year-old Friends star – who was married to Brad, 59, between 2000 and 2005 – reached out to her former spouse ‘immediately’ after Pax’s Instagram post came to light.
Pax, who the Fight Club star shares with his ex-wife Angelina Jolie, blasted his dad in a recently unearthed social media post.
Pax, now 19, but 16 at the time he posted the message, called his famous dad a ‘world-class a**hole’ and a ‘f*****g awful human being’ in a 2020 post.
According to OK!, Jennifer has been Brad’s ‘rock of support’.
A source told the outlet: ‘Her first thought was how upset he must be. To be attacked in that way by someone he cares about so dearly will have been heartbreaking for him.’

They added: ‘A lot of people assume they don’t talk as their break-up was so fraught, but they have been in touch for years and she has always been a rock of support.
‘They have become good friends despite all the heartache. Jen cares deeply about Brad and vice versa.’
Aside from Pax, Brad and Angelina share Maddox, 22, Zahara, 18, Shiloh, 17, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 15.

Across a photo of Brad collecting his Oscar for Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood, Pax wrote on Father’s Day 2020: ‘Happy Father’s Day to this world-class a**hole.

In the post, unearthed by MailOnline, Pax went on: ‘You have no consideration or empathy towards your four youngest children who tremble in fear when in your presence.

Pax concluded: ‘You have made the lives of those closest to me a constant hell. You may tell yourself and the world whatever you want but the truth will come to light someday.
