Jennifer Aniston fans say ‘bring it on’ as star gives The Morning Show update

Jennifer Aniston fans were raving after the actress gave an update on The Morning Show's fourth season.

The Apple TV show first launched in 2019 and has been running for three seasons. Inspired by Brian Stelter's 2013 book Top of the Morning: Inside the Cutthroat World of Morning TV, the show examines the characters and culture behind a network broadcast morning news program.

Reese Witherspoon, Billy Crudup, Mark Duplass and Tig Notaro join Aniston as part of the show's star-studded line-up. The last instalment of The Morning Show dropped in November.

Now Aniston, who plays Alex Levy on the show, has given fans a long-awaited update. She posted a photo of herself, Notaro and Witherspoon holding their table read name cards – and all matching in blue jeans and white t-shirts.

A second photo gave fans a sneak peak of episode one's script, titled: "Episode one – My Roman Empire". Captioning the post, Aniston wrote: "Let @themorningshow season 4 games begin [celebration emoji] Here we come!"

Understandably, fans were ecstatic to see the cast back together. One viewer wrote: "Thank gosh! About time! Been waiting…." as a second cheered: "Bring it on, I say". A third said: "So glad this show will continue! It’s so good!" as fourth penned: "Already know it’s going to be magic!"

The Morning Show currently has a rating of 66 percent from critics on Rotten Tomatoes – while audiences have awarded it a measly 32 percent. The critics' consensus for season three read: "Leaning into its soapier elements while bolstering an already star-studded cast with some welcome additions, The Morning Show upgrades from a shaky prestige program into an addictive guilty pleasure."
