She took to Instagram a day after the nominations were announced to share a photo of herself and her costar Reese Witherspoon in costume on the set of the popular Apple TV+ show.
Life appeared to have imitated art, as the two women who play rival news anchors will now be dueling for an Emmy Award after they both scored nods for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series.
Following Wednesday's nominations announcement, Apple TV+ celebrated The Morning Show's impressive 16 nominations — the most for the streamer this year — with a photo of Jennifer and Reese with several of the show's producers, which it captioned: 'Sweet 16 (Emmy nominations).'

After the nominations were announced on Wednesday, Apple TV+ posted a photo of Jennifer and Reese with the show's other producers. 'Sweet 16 (Emmy nominations)' it wrote, referring to the show's total nods
'Happy Sweet 16 indeed! I’m so honored and so proud of our show and all of our wildly talented actors, directors and crew!' she gushed, while also tagging the Television Academy, which puts on the Emmys, and her show's Instagram account.
Jennifer looked particularly tan as she posed against Reese, and both women favored all-black ensembles.
The Friends actress had on a lovely sleeveless floral lace top that she paired with simple black slacks, while her costar favored a black satin blouse with a matching mini skirt and suit jacket.

Jon Hamm, who is nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series, was spotted on an on-set monitor as he shot a scene with Jennifer with a fair in the background.
