Julie Chrisley couldn’t hold back tears the moment she learned she and husband Todd Chrisley had received a presidential pardon from Donald Trump, ending more than two years behind bars for tax evasion and bank fraud.
In a new preview from My View with Lara Trump, Julie emotionally recalls being surrounded by fellow inmates when her daughter called with the life-changing news.
“I’m getting out of here!” she cried, stunned by what felt like a miracle in a place where good news is rare.
Todd had a similar moment of disbelief — first tipped off by a fellow inmate, then confirmed by a correctional officer.
“We owe thanks to God,” Todd said, acknowledging the family’s supporters during the press conference held after his release.

Since walking free on May 28, Todd has documented everything, promising transparency about the couple’s fight for justice.
“My commitment is to the men I left behind — I won’t forget them,” he said.
Julie missed the press conference to care for their daughter Chloe, who reportedly hasn’t left her mother’s side.
Meanwhile, daughter Savannah Chrisley has confirmed the return of their podcast, Chrisley Confessions, and teased a brand-new Lifetime reality series, currently titled The Untitled Chrisleys Project.
“They’re ready to be authentically themselves,” Savannah said on her Unlocked podcast.
📺 No release date yet, but the Chrisleys are officially back — with more to say than ever before.
