Now, their family is going through a tough time as Pax has gotten into a brutal accident in Los Angeles. While the young man has now reportedly been released from the ICU, a source close to the family says that Angeline Jolie was extremely worried for her son, who is in recovery.

No parent would want their child to go through what Pax Thien just did. On July 29, Pax Thien Jolie-Pitt was reportedly riding his e-bike in a heavy traffic area on Los Feliz Boulevard when he got into a terrible accident, as per TMZ. The outlet stated that Pax did not have a helmet on which resulted in a head injury and hip pain. They added that he was taken to a nearby Los Angeles hospital for appropriate treatment.

Fortunately, Pax was released from the ICU but “suffered complex trauma” as per a source who confided in PEOPLE. The source added that he would now begin “the long road of recovery and physical therapy.”

Another source recently told the outlet that Pax is “still recovering.” They also added that things could have gotten worse as the boy didn’t have his helmet on.

He’s uncomfortable and will need further treatments. Still, he was very lucky. It could have been much worse since he didn’t wear a helmet.

The source went on to reveal that Angelina Jolie was “shocked and worried when she got the call about the accident,” just like any other parent would have been. However, despite the tough time the family is going through, Pax’s siblings are supporting him “as best as they can.” Here’s wishing the family relief from this tough period in their lives.

Brad Pitt Reacts to Pax’s Accident

TMZ reports that Brad Pitt is “extremely concerned” for his estranged son’s wellbeing. According to the outlet, Pitt is not completely out of the loop regarding Pax’s condition and is getting a steady flow of information about his recovery.

A source close to the F1 actor told TMZ that he was shocked and emotional upon hearing the unfortunate news. As a result of the bitter divorce between Pitt and Jolie, Pax has not been on good terms with his father, and the two are now estranged.

While Pitt is not on speaking terms with Pax and cannot contact the family directly for updates, the outlet’s sources stated that “concerned people around the family” are keeping him on top of the case and he is “grateful” for their efforts.

TMZ was also informed that unlike his father who always wears a helmet while riding his motorcycle, Pax almost never does so himself. Regardless of what happened and how it happened, we wish nothing but a speedy recovery for the twenty-year-old.
