In 2017, the actor told Glamour that MAC Cosmetic's Paramount lipstick was one of her staples on set. "I remember that was my go-to colour when I was doing Friends," the star shared. Predictably, beauty gurus were quick to snap up the shade in an effort to recreate Aniston's look, and the demand hasn't let up.
Recently, content creator Gillian Grace amassed over one million views on TikTok as @gillianxgrace after testing out the nostalgic shade.
"This is like a true 90s lipstick," Gillian praised. "I think I'm in love. I thought this was going to be too bold for me for everyday wear. I don't even have lower lash mascara on and I feel like this looks so good. It is like the prettiest red-brown. This is one of the MAC Sleek Satin Lipsticks. It's insanely pigmented, so you really only need a little bit."
Fans loved the video, and many were quick to seek more budget-friendly alternatives, reports the Mirror. One such shopper shared: "It looks like rum raisin from Revlon if anyone is a budget baddie."
In response, a beauty lover said: "I have them both! I feel like Rum Raisin is a little more wearable for everyday." Another shared: I live by my rum raisin." Meanwhile, someone suggesting a similar shade added: "Or Lippy by Maybelline."
Following her own trial of Revlon's shade on behalf of fans of Rachel's look, Gillian Grace suggested: "Rum raisin will definitely give you that same look." In her testing video, she added that she could see Friends' Monica Geller and Gilmore Girls' Lorelai Gilmore wearing the Revlon shade.
Fans didn't hold back their adoration for the lip colour as one replied, "This was my favourite colour of all time!" while another declared, "THEEEEEE color to me truly my holy grail."
