The source continued, “He apologized to Jen for being an absentee husband, for being stoned and bored much of the time. He also made amends for leaving her Angelina.” Although Pitt tried his best to mend the fences, it was hard for Aniston to hear after all these years. While the former couple managed to put the past behind them, his apology seemed like empty words after news about Jolie and his divorce came to light.
However, years before Pitt went the extra mile with Aniston, he also ended up revealing that he regretted his choice of leaving her the way he did.
