Kaley Cuoco and Johnny Galecki’s reunion created a big bang online.
The actors appear in an ad for the video game Royal Kingdom together, six years after the finale of their CBS sitcom “The Big Bang Theory.”
The series followed best friends, roommates and physicists Sheldon Cooper (Jim Parsons), Leonard Hofstadter (Galecki) and Howard Wolowitz (Simon Helberg).
Galecki’s Leonard married Cuoco’s Penny, with the on-screen couple tying the knot twice on the show.

First, the couple exchanged vows in a Las Vegas elopement during the Season 9 premiere before having a second wedding ceremony with friends and family in Season 10.
Cuoco and Galecki also dated in real life from 2008 to 2010 after meeting on set.
Cuoco, 39, shared the commercial to her social media platform, captioning the Instagram video: “This was so fun to shoot! Back together with my buddy JG.”
The clip starts by showing the “Based on a True Story” star sorting through board games to play as she says, “Okay ready for game night!”
But the “Roseanne” alum, 49, quickly cuts her off, having an idea of his own to share.
He then comes into the room holding up his phone to showcase the app.
“Royal Kingdom is a brand new puzzle game that just launched,” he says. “So we don’t need these.”
“Wait, what?” Cuoco asks as Galecki takes the games off the table and tosses them out the window.
“Hey! Those are my games,” shouts “The Flight Attendant” actress before Galecki explains, “I told you, all we need is Royal Kingdom. You can build kingdoms by solving puzzles.”
Once Galecki hands Cuoco his phone, she’s hooked. The camera pans to a close-up of her phone as she exclaims, “Oh wow! That is fun.”
The “8 Simple Rules” vet then tosses more games out the window, before Galecki tells her the app is free.
So, naturally, she chucks her credit cards out the window, as well.
“Don’t even need wifi,” he adds, as Cuoco hilariously rips out the machine and screams: “See you later router!”
Since the game also comes ad-free, the pair takes her television off the wall and out the window it goes.
“Was that an overreaction?” she ponders to her former co-star. “Maybe,” Galecki simply states.
The two stare out the window as the actor justifies, “But this game is awesome.”
“Can we play the game now?” Cuoco says as she and Galecki pull out their phones and start playing.
Fans flocked to the comments section to share their excitement over the mini reunion.
“We need a Penny & Leonard spinoff IMMEDIATELY!!” one follower wrote, as a second user chimed in, “We need more of these interactions!! Miss these two together!!”
Kevin Sussman, who played comic book store owner Stuart Bloom on “The Big Bang Theory,” commented: “Miss you guys!”
Sussman, 54, is set to have his own TV reunion alongside Brian Posehn and Lauren Lapkus in the sitcom spin-off “Stuart Fails to Save the Universe.”
Galecki, meanwhile, posted the clip on his page as well, giving a sweet shoutout to Cuoco.
“Though I’ve done my best to assure @kaleycuoco that comparing the amount of Likes we have each received from our exciting new @royalkingdom ad is irrelevant, knowing her as long as I have I understand that this perfect and inescapable example of the vast and glaring disproportion in our likabilities must have Kaley in her doldrums,” he wrote.
He urged fans: “If you only do one good deed today, please add to Kaley’s likes on her ad. Deep down, she’s a terrific person. If for no other reason, do it for me, who you actually do like. Thank you from the bottom of my overflowing-with-likes-heart. #likesforkaley.”
“The Big Bang Theory” ran for 12 seasons from 2007 to 2019.
A few years before the show ended, “Young Sheldon” was created, which followed Cooper as a kid.
The “Big Bang” universe unveiled its third spin-off in 2024: “Georgie and Mandy’s First Marriage.”
This time, the sitcom tells the story of young parents Georgie Cooper — Sheldon’s older brother — and Mandy McAllister.
In March, “The Big Bang Theory” co-creator, Chuck Lorre, got candid on his biggest regret when it came to Cuoco’s Penny.
“We had so many episodes to go before we started to understand that there was a brilliance to Penny’s character that we had not explored,” the visionary, 72, said while on “The Official Big Bang Theory Podcast.”
“We did the very cliché in the beginning, you know, goofy blond who says foolish things. It’s a clichéd character, right? And we missed it,” Lorre explained to host Jessica Radloff. “We didn’t have that right away that what she brought to this series, to these other characters, was an intelligence that was alien to them, you know, intelligence about people and relationships and family.”
Despite appearing in all 12 seasons, Penny was never given a last name until she married Leonard.
“It was built in that the scientists of the show didn’t understand how to be with people,” he explained. “She did. She brought a humanity to them that they were lacking and that took a while to figure out. Certainly in the beginning, she was sadly one-dimensional.”
Before Penny, actress Amanda Walsh was originally cast as Katie, “a street-hardened tough-as-nails woman with a vulnerable interior,” in the 2006 pilot.
The pilot never aired after the test audience “hated” Katie and her “toxic presence.”
It was then reshot in 2007 with a new cast, including Penny, Howard and Rajesh Koothrappali (Kunal Nayyar).
“The magic of Kaley was, Kaley’s character — as we figured this thing out on the fly — was amused by them, was not critical,” Lorre stated. “If she got angry, it wasn’t harsh. The audience really responded to that.”
