Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck showed they have a lot of banter in their relationship in J.Lo's new Amazon Prime documentary, The Greatest Love Story Never Told.
In a moment where Jen, 54, is seen telling Ben, 51, about the set-up of her recently-released "cinematic odyssey" This Is Me Now: A Love Story, Hollywood actor Ben mocks Jennifer over the age she is proclaiming to be during one of the scenes.
Reading the direction, she tells Ben: "Opening her eyes in a hospital bed, younger, age 28, and she wasn't emaciated, but exhausted." Ben interrupts and says: "Technically you weren't 28, but…".
J.Lo, who looks less-than-impressed, simply replies: "Yep. All her friends are. But you were. You were." She adds: "That's why you were not as smart as me."
Ben responds: "I see. Semi-autobiographical. It's your story, buy younger." He then continues to laugh before J.Lo calls him an "idiot". But it seemed to all be in good fun though as the Love Don't Cost A Thing singer then also begins to laugh and Ben gives her a quick hug.
J.Lo's new documentary details all about her love story with Ben. The pair famously first dated in the early noughties and were the Hollywood 'it' couple for quite some time.
The duo met on set of film Gigli, while Jennifer was married to her second husband, Cris Judd. In June of 2002, Jen and Cris separated, with her officially filing for divorce the following month, when she was spotted passionately kissing Ben.
In November of that year, Ben was seen appearing in Jennifer's music video for Jenny From The Block, where he was famously seen leaning over and kissing her bottom as they reclined on a yacht.
Later that month, the pair announced they were engaged. What followed was months of romantic public appearances and media opportunities ahead of their September wedding.
However, it wasn't; to be for the pair, and on September 13, the day before their hotly-anticipated nuptials, they announced they were separating.
Multiple marriages and relationships followed their split, before the couple ultimately reconciled nearly two decades later, tying the knot in July 2022.
