On Tuesday morning, a massive 1,200-acre brush fire tore through celebrity enclave the Pacific Palisades.
An evacuation order was put into effect with Los Angeles Fire Department saying in a statement: "The Palisades Fire is burning near Palisades Drive. Those nearby should get set for a potential wildfire evacuation by gathering supplies and loved ones."
While official burn and damage reports have yet to be released, celebrities such as Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson notoriously live in the area, with many other A-listers calling the neighborhood home.
The fire was spread through rapid 55mph winds which were a "near worst case scenario" for residents, according to meteorologist Paul Deano. In fact, the flames were so threatening that President Joe Biden was forced to cancel his trip to the Eastern Coachella Valley in California.
Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson
According to MailOnline , Tom Hanks and his wife Rita Wilson reside in an enormous mansion in Pacific Palisades worth an eye-watering $26million.
The A-list couple, who have been together for 36 years, bought the 1.5 acre home in 2010 but the property was built in 1996. It boasts five bathrooms, four bedrooms, has a massive pool and home cinema and sprawls across a whopping 14,513 square feet.
Ben Affleck
In July, Architectural Digest reported that Ben Affleck bought a Pacific Palisades home for $20.5 million. The French-country-style mansion was built back in 1941 and is nestled amongst cypress and olive trees. Boasting five bedrooms and six bathrooms, the blockbuster abode also features a poolside cabana with a fireplace, horse riding facilities and a two-story guest house.

Taking to X, he wrote: "To all the wonderful people who've reached out to us, thank you for being so concerned. Just letting you know that we were able to evacuate successfully. I do not know at this moment if our home is still standing, but sadly, houses on our little street are not."
Heidi and Spencer Pratt
Shockingly, Heidi and Spencer Pratt’s Pacific Palisades home burned down in the fires. Thankfully, the couple, famous for their roles in The Hills, and their entire family managed to evacuate their home safely earlier in the day. Before the evacuation began, Spencer shared a video on his Instagram Stories showing fire officials attempting to control the blaze by dropping water from above onto the nearby mountainside.
Miles Teller and Keleigh Sperry
Miles Teller and Keleigh Sperry bought a $7.5million Pacific Palisades home in March 2023, according to James Respondek .
The Cape-Cod style home covers 6,622 square-foot and features seven bathrooms, family rooms, five bedrooms, a gym and home cinema.
Jennifer Aniston
According to the Hollywood Reporter , Jennifer Aniston also owns a home in the Pacific Palisades area.
Bradley Cooper
A-lister Bradley Cooper owns a stunning 3,335-square-foot property in the wealthy Pacific Palisades area, according to Architectural Digest . He picked up the pad in 2009 for $4.7 million and the three-bathroom, three-bedroom home is where he and his then-partner Irina Shayk welcomed their daughter in 2017.
Reese Witherspoon
In 2023, Reese Witherspoon forked out $17million on a Pacific Palisades mansion. Yahoo reported that architecture firm Morgan, Walls & Clements is behind the stunning property and the home spans 7,500-square-feet. It has an enormous pool and six bedrooms, but the jewel of the home is the master bedroom that’s on the ground floor and features a walk-in spa bathroom, fireplace and walk-in wardrobe.
Adam Sandler
Architectural Digest reports that funnyman Adam Sandler bought his Pacific Palisades home from Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell after attending a New Year’s Eve bash there.
The 13,000 square-foot property was snapped up by Sandler for $12million and to this day is the star’s primary home.
