Another day of Anne Hathaway
And who’s complaining? Not me! I love covering Anne Hathaway because sometimes she’s fully serving “I killed my third husband and got away with it” c-nt and sometimes she’s like easy-breezy boho, but never in a costume way. She wears the HELL out of a pair of jeans. Which brings me to this question – you can see the full out fit here.
This is one of those so-simple-it’s-tricky outfits but I did some sleuthing and here is my theory: if you zoom in super close on Anne’s jeans, you’ll see the outline of a horse sewn on the front pocket. That means these are Jordache. And judging by the wide side seam and hem, these are vintage Jordache (or from a past season). There are loads of these online at Etsy and eBay so go hunting.
Now onto the shirt. A billowy white blouse that could be anything but I’m going to point to one place in particular: Emerson Fry. A couple of reasons for this. I know Anne has worn their pieces in the past and I think she hangs onto things she likes (that’s just a sense I get). Second reason is I have one of their blouses and while they are pricey, the quality is there. I’m talking 10 years on, I still reach for a shirt very similar to what she is wearing. Right now, they don’t have any in stock (here’s a look at the same blouse but in a marigold print).
Doen does have a similar blouse to what she is wearing but again, pricey. For less expensive options, I’d buy one from Etsy (from someone as local as possible) – there are many talented sewers who can make pieces like this (look for pintuck blouse). Selena’s Big Birthday
Selena Gomez looks like she had a lovely 32nd birthday with friends (and Benny Blanco). She did the day in a very cute yellow romper (perfect for a day party!) and I can’t take the credit for finding this. Selenators are on it. Like by the time I checked my email, they had it.
Katy’s Gingham Bathing Suit
I’m still on the hunt for a pair of gingham pants because for me, this pattern can get too cutesy really quick. It has to be done in small doses, which is why it’s such a great pattern for a bathing suit. I didn’t buy a bathing suit this year and when I do, I’m loyal to Aerie (big busted girls GET IT). This one is by Solid & Striped. Very cute. The one-piece suit is buy Hermes – on sale! I don’t think I’ve ever seen Hermes on sale.
